Philippe is working at Henkel in various sustainable packaging roles since 2015 and is currently leading the Sustainable Design & Circularity function within the Packaging & Consumer Goods division of Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business unit, located in Henkel’s headquarter in Düsseldorf, Germany. Before that, he was globally steering packaging sustainability and strategy on the consumer brands side for the BeautyCare division for almost seven years. As an industry-wide recognized expert, he is actively engaging in multiple initiatives and programs around sustainable packaging and enjoys independent judging for some of the world’s most important packaging innovation and sustainability awards. He is holding an engineering degree in plastics and environmental engineering and is looking back on more than 30 years of experience in plastic processing and packaging related product development.
